NicoTheOwl is an award-winning music producer and songwriter who graduated from Berklee College of Music with a jazz composition and production degree. Over his illustrious career, NicoTheOwl has collaborated with prominent artists and contributed to several acclaimed projects. His work includes producing Daniel Powter’s “Bad Day (Stripped Down),” working with Twice/Misamo on the platinum record “It’s Not Easy for You,” and producing Cher Lloyd’s hit “M.I.A,” which reached the top 5 in the UK charts. NicoTheOwl also produced Lena’s “Boundaries,” which was featured in the movie X-Men and was a top 5 song in Germany. She is a rock opera vocalist, award-winning songwriter, and multifaceted performer. Her original opera metal compositions recently debuted at Carnegie Hall. She also serves as a National Trustee for the Recording Academy for the GRAMMY Awards. She is the frontwoman and founder of the alternative metal band Meka Nism. She has played over 150 shows across Japan as a solo act, theater performer, and in the J-pop/America Rock project Origami Girls.  Meka has been featured on the groundbreaking album “Visions of Sounds” - by Chris Redding in his efforts to make an album to reach his autistic son.   She recently worked on Alice Cooper's latest charity project, “Rock for Children!” She has been recognized as Orlando Weekly's "Best of Orlando" - Metal Act and Best Of Music Scene.  Ms. Meka Nism recently debuted at Carnegie Hall with her original opera metal compositions.
