I took voice lessons in high school that taught me to be an opera singer with giant lungs and huge vibrato.Over the years leading worship I havePushed my voice way too hard. After years of singing the wrong way, I discovered this podcast and it is making a huge difference for me. I wish that my high school voice teacher would have taught me what I have learned here. I teach worship guitar andHave made this podcast a requirement for anyone who wants to lead worship. Jeff is amazing! This podcast is slowly fixing years of singing the wrong way for me! Maybe one day I’ll take a real lesson from Jeff!

I am so thankful I found these warm ups. I went through months of therapy for vocal nodules, and I found this podcast shortly after I got the okay to start singing again. These warm ups were the perfect way to strengthen my voice. I do them almost daily on my way to work (as a middle school teacher who uses her voice all day long). I also really appreciate Jeff’s philosophy, and his words have given me a much healthier mindset towards my voice.
