The show itself is great, Mike keeps it real which I prefer. Offers a level of critical thinking not seen in other radio shows locally. My only complaint is with the podcast version, we don’t get to hear the drops which render some segments like “Who said it” not even worth listening to which is unfortunate. I’ve tried on the Audacy app but I like to listen at a faster speed 1.25 or 1.5x and Audacy app just can’t ever seem to work right.

Lost me when you play the who said it bit but you don’t play the actual replay of the audio.

Show is usually entertaining and I agree with most of what is said…usually My complaints would be a) Mike tends to go overboard with the negative attitude b) Mike needs to realize that like it or not, the majority of Detroit area sports fans are also University of Michigan fans. He needs to lighten up on the psychotic inferiority complex. When I hear U of M is being discussed, off goes the channel as it is a surety that slanted, goofball talk that few are interested in will follow

If you have ears this show and the accompanying podcast is like mana from heaven. The equivalent of the big guy upstairs just making love to your cerebellum. The spiciest of most defendable of takes from one Mike Valenti. The dulcet tones of one Rico Beard. I’m a Michigan Stan and even I know that these guys are the real deal.

Glad you can find it here. Refuse to use the trash Audacy app. Easily the best sports talk show in Michigan. Although that bar is pretty low. Every once in a while I'll try and listen to another 97.1 daytime or the Huge show. They just puke up shameless program propaganda and lame non-sports topics. Mike and Rico at least shoot straight about relevant topics and avoid debasing themselves themselves shilling for the local organizations and appealing to the drooling hillbillies

Love the fact that full episodes are available now. I hating using the audacity app. Mike and Rico are great together. Love the takes they have. Great football insight

This is such a trash product. Nobody on this show not named Mike could intelligently talk about two kids playing catch, let alone our local sports teams. And Mike has really mailed it in in the last five years - just the same tired bit over and over again, hoping for the next “viral” rant. Does anyone actually do show prep anymore, or does the show sheet for every show say 1) Mike does old man yelling at clouds about how adults playing a kids game just isn’t the same anymore now that he’s in his mid 40s and 2) ARE YOU DONE WITH THE TIGERS, 248-…. Detroit could really use some new blood that actually cares.

I listen for my 25 min cruise a few days a week lately it’s been even less… Rico is an awful listen show was way better when it was just Mike or even Mike & Terry.
