Ira Glass listens to one of the original 1995 pilot episodes of This American Life. The episode was never broadcast nationally. We found a copy on reel-to-reel tape. Two colleagues join Ira in the studio for commentary: Julie Snyder, our former senior producer on the show for nearly 20 years; and Aviva DeKornfeld, one of our newer producers. None of them knew what to expect, and wow do they all have thoughts.
