I've just started listening, and I've found it fascinating and insightful.

A very informative and entertaining podcast that discusses flags and their history and cultural ties. The clear descriptions of flags allow the podcast to work even if you are unfamiliar with the flags featured.

It’s cliché, but it’s true. This is the only podcast of its kind that I know, but I’m happy to say it’s a good one. Simon knows his stuff, and he does an excellent job of keeping his discussions of flags both interesting and objective. He has a great attitude and makes it easy to provide feedback. I have one recommendation for other listeners: Unless you’re a flag nut like myself and are very familiar with many historical and subnational flags, check out the show notes to see images of the flags to be discussed *before* listening. Simon does an excellent job describing the flags, but you’ll enjoy the show more if you’ve seen the flags yourself. Actually, it’s good advice for everyone because sometimes the topic will be new designs that few have ever seen. I gave the podcast four stars instead of five because the production level could use improvement, but it’s about as good as you can hope for without an actual budget. I just can’t give rate it the same as a professional podcast with high-level audio quality. The content, however, is great.
