Chris has endured many challenges in his life, from his time in uniform as a Marine and more recent during his transition years. Chris has the end in sight; his focus and willingness to help others in fulfilling their lives is admirable and heartfelt. Thanks Chris and keep on charging. Semper Fidelis.
Great podcast but some information from guests was misleading

First, I want to say that Chris is a great host! I myself am combat veteran with a similar past as Chris. I also suffer from UC, just like Chris. I also truly appreciate everything he’s trying to do with the podcast for the Veteran community to empower them to be better and stronger. The only issue I have is that a few of the guests have spouted off false information because they didn’t think anyone would notice, maybe, or they have an agenda. Just one small example of this would be when one of the guests said that the VA does not provide CBT, talk therapy, general therapy, or prescribe any medication for psychological/ psychiatric disorders and just rates them (often wrong or over rates them, which may be true) and then pushes them on the street. They actually saved my life with a combination of resources and now I have a doctorate degree and am a practicing healthcare provider with a wonderful family and my life together. This could be dangerous to the veteran community and cause them to lose more hope. We need to push together and provide all the facts, not just the ones that sell our prospective books. Veterans should be able to look where ever they want for help, and be provided a variety of resources. That is truly the best way we can pull ourselves up and live our best lives and excel in the prospective areas we choose to live. I do agree, however, that we need to get our generation of Veterans to lift ourselves up and form a sort of Renaissance, so to speak; but we need to do it with the truth.
Really liked it until….

The podcast started talking about sensitive social and political topics that have nothing to do improving the warrior soul. He and his guests are VERY right leaning and talk about their views on CRT, politics, and the COVID vaccine. The LAST episode I listened to I couldn’t get through. He had some doctor (not an epidemiologist) talk about the vaccine mandate being disgusting, blah blah blah. Did some research on the doc and his website just pushes some sleep supplements (creatively called “Sleep Remedy” priced at $60 for 30 pills.) He also admitted not know much about the world. Neat. Stick to healing warrior souls and not talking about how liberal academic institutions are indoctrinating staff and students into they crazy leftest agendas like CRT.
A must-follow podcast for Veterans!
