Up to the minute environmental news and deep dives into some of the biggest - and weirdest - climate stories from across the globe. An irreverent and thought provoking podcast on the health of the planet, for anyone who happens to live on it (or just vacations here).

Hosted by longtime brothers Chris and Donnie Stemp, The Week on Earth is like John Oliver's TV show, only slightly less funny (the environment's just not that funny). Produced by Peabody award winner Elease Lui with music by Grammy award winner Amy Aileen Wood.

Excited for season 2

Hopefully coming to a podcast app near you

Update: I was promised a season 2?

Katie Loving ,

Excited to find this podcast !

I got word of this new podcast starting up … from Inside Climate News (also recommended)

And I was hooked from the first episode.

I’ve been a weather geek for decades, and consider myself quite informed about climate change. I am learning more here in every episode, and enjoying it!

How to take a momentous and devastating reflection of how messed up this Earth is due to human greed and arrogance and general cluelessness… and find the positive things to keep in mind at the same time…. No small feat.

CONGRATULATIONS for your smarts in how to address such humongous topics and bring humor and upbeat news to each episode.

THANK YOU. 🌱🍀🌸

(By the way, I have never written a podcast review before. This is my first.)

Informative!

This podcast provides a welcome answer to the question of “where does one even begin?” when considering tackling huge subjects like climate change and the environment.

As someone who struggles with major overwhelm and depression when it comes to climate change, I found that these first several episodes have shed some light on important issues that I’ve been wondering about lately.

And they also offer inspiration and ideas for changes we can make in our daily lives that can have positive impact, which I appreciate.
