I love this show
I highly recommend this channel work night shift. I work long shift. This podcast helps me get through 95% of my workday.
Come for the Debunk, Stay for the Heckles
To say that the world of conspiracy theory/urban legend podcasts are saturated would be an understatement. But what sets The Why Files apart from the many others that dive into similar topics is the narration, and research that goes into each episode. Andrew Gentile is unmatched in his ability to pull you into a world of shadow organizations, and mysterious humanoids (or Lizzid Peope!) only to bring you back with his closing perspectives that separate the debunked myths from the truly unexplained.
I almost docked the podcast a star due to the fact that we have not been given a full background of Gentile’s partner in crime, one HeckleFish Moirarty. While their origin story is unknown, one can only assume that Moirarty is an enigma who has existed as long as time itself - for how else would they know so much about the Younger Dryas and the aforementioned ‘Lizzid People’?!?!
All said, this is truly a fantastic podcast (and YouTube channel) that will entertain and inform a wide-ranging audience.
Found on YouTube
I work midnights and am sitting 95% of the time. I’m lucky where I can watch tv or listen to podcasts during the down time. I recently started using YouTube more and found this gem. I don’t know how I found it but this is one of the most well out together programs. It reminds me of Lore but not as “dry”. AJ inserts his humor and researches things more extensible than others. Hecklefish is awesome! and my spirit animal. #iykyk
