Good ideas , annoying banter
3월 21일
I agree with other reviewer that the hosts should listen to their endless giggling. It takes away from the content and makes the whole venture, hosts and shows alike, appear frivolous. The guests and topics have been really solid. Cut down on the quips and it will be a lot better.
Rosie’s voice

She has an exceptionally lovely voice and delivery. The hosts/panel are clever and share good camaraderie. I disagree with the complaints here of too much chit-chat/laughing; I think it gives the show a warmth and brightness and is brief enough so as not to distract from the episode’s focus. Brava!
Love!

My husband thought I was crazy when after he spilled ketchup on his shirt I squealed “Yippeeeee”

Wish I could give 5 stars

I read the Wirecutter so thought I would check out the podcast. Although the information is interesting - the hosts seem to find everything funny. Have they ever listened to themselves?
Interesting content. Way too much giggling!

The podcast has good info, but the shrill giggling is so annoying that sometimes I can’t make through the whole episode.
Good reviews but insane laughter

I have enjoyed all Wirecutter podcasts and I almost always pick up on something I did not realize. However the hosts join in with such absurd laughter at comments that are not the slightest bit funny. I wish they would stop laughing so much. It is quite distracting and annoying and adds nothing to the value of the podcast.
Love Wirecutter, but hate the podcast

I’ve been a faithful Wirecutter reader nearly since its inception and always love what they do. This podcast, however, is an unfortunate exception to that and it’s solely due to the hosts. Too jokey yet never funny, too much inane banter, always saccharine. Every week my wife and I try to listen and every week we never get halfway through before one of us finally cries out “make. it. stop.”
Would NPR talked about adult toys….

I love learning tips about washing and cooking. But know your audience. The audience for this podcast and NPR are probably pretty similar. I really don’t care what NPR would say about the sex stuff. I gave a pass once but twice? Unsubscribed. No thanks.
Strength Training
2월 15일
For the most part I enjoy ur podcasts. Today ur program really missed the mark on so many levels. For strength trng or any workout to be sustainable I don’t see how it would work at home & in isolation. I don’t know a single individual who has been able to consistently do that. I’ve been taking a strength trng class for decades. About 75% of participants are doing the exercises wrong. Unless u know body mechanics really well, u need a partner or trainer, u need feedback, u need mirrors. Some recommendations about products were wacky. I buy bands all the time. I have never purchased bands that have powder on them or smell like rubber. The recommendation for kettle bells - not everyone can use them. If u have arthritis in ur hands it’s impossible. Hand weights work better & are more practical. Really disappointed in this episode - not realistic or practical especially for beginners.
