As my title for this review says, this is a great show for both readers and writers. Readers get to hear very good short pieces read by their very talented authors. Writers get to hear very well-constructed and well-written stories. Aside from the stories being entertaining, they're also educational in the ways that they are written. Also, host R.B. Wood does a great job running it all. If you enjoy writing or reading, give this show a listen.

The Word Count Podcasts are a wonderful way to discover emerging and established authors. With so many demands on our time and attention, being able to listen to a story can be wonderfully relaxing. It is reminiscent of the good ole radio days. Richard Wood does an excellent job of presenting each author, providing context and seques from one story to another. Thematically each program is unique. There really is something for everyone here.
