Wikimedians Assemble!
In this episode Rebecca talks about her time at the Wikimedia Summit in Berlin and the 2022 European GLAMwiki Coordinators meeting in Prague. We hear from a number of the attendees in Berlin.
We discuss the rules around starting over on Wikipedia and go a little deep on death.

Wikipedia and local editors
Thanks for emphasizing the importance of local editors. I enjoyed this episode, though Wikisource is an untapped wall of text that I have wrestled with grasping. The scanning of chapbooks sounds like a great idea though and any other shortish scans could easily be taken up by other libraries: old pamphlets, posters, or newsletters would be good. The Arctic Knot has some interesting footage on YouTube: the scots Wikipedia story underlines the future of any small language that depends on its readers & speakers to carry their heritage forward online.
