NEEDS video recording

Amazing pod. But needs a video recording as well. Tough to immerse fully when the mad lads are talking about a structure that the listener can’t see
Love this stuff

Got started listening from my dad a year or two back and I love it. I know nothing about construction so I’m mostly listening for the humor and funny opinions. Other people have complain about all the “British snark” on this podcast but that may be one of my favorite parts. Thanks for keeping it relatively clean guys!
Excellence in Construction

Abe from the U.S. here. Awesome podcast, excellent banter, and I’m really glad you all take time for yourselves here and there. Also thank you for bringing mental health into the conversation with “get construction talking” I feel it’s important. Side note, recently NordStream 2 is being talked about here in the United States and I was wondering if there is anything left to say there. Will it ever be used? Keep up the good work, I appreciate the pod and look forward to it weekly.
Worlds best travel podcast
2024/08/01
Absolutely the best travel podcast out there, and a pretty decent construction one! Whether it’s finding the best way to get to Tokyo, the most efficient journey to Heathrow, or just hearing about some of their favorite nudist beaches, it’s always fun listening to Fred, Kyle, and Liam discuss a bit of construction and life.
Planes still use steel

I am an aerospace mechanic, worked on the 373 (which, fun fact: still uses some steal parts) the 777, and the 787 (which don’t use any steel anymore) Ps. Can you please do a podcast episode for the floating rail bridge in Seattle WA. It’s had a problem with the rail ties but should be up and running by next year and your video on it has over 1M views
My child hood has been turned upside down

Morning Fred and Luke, Evening Liam, Working in the construction industry as a welder I rather enjoy listening to you boys whilst I’m laying down a weld. Thanks for the great entertainment during my long and lonesome shifts. But now for the real reason my comment is named what it is. First off I’m an American born in the late 90s. I now have a 1.5 year old son and I started to let him watch some of the old tv shows that I watch while I was a kid. One of them being Bob the Builder. Only a couple of weeks ago did I realize that Bob the Builder was a British TV show! Growing up I never knew that and going back now and rewatching them it just blew my wife and I’s mind. Also side note: Akron, Ohio was the first place in the US to have the first interstate highway and currently the are redoing a whole overpass junction because it hasn’t really been updated since it first opened and just north of the junction they building a new bridge to replace the old bridge that crosses the Little Cuyahoga River all this is due to finish some time in 2025… “allegedly” Anyways keep up the great work gents
My new favourite podcast
2024/02/09
The banter of 2000s-era top gear applied to the exciting world of construction. This has rapidly become one of my favourite podcasts. A great way to keep up to date on all the major projects going on around the world and have a laugh at the same time. (Warning: lots of British humour, may not apply universally)

Hi Boyssss, Love love love the pod - Long time follower of the B1M via Youtube and have thoroughly enjoyed the broader context provided by the podcast. The additional projects covered here constantly have me discovering new projects and has kept me informed of fascinating projects outside the U.S. that I likely wouldn’t come across without the podcast. The conversational style is this podcast is well balanced between information and commentary and I look forward to listening every week. The podcast succeeds in covering a variety of interesting projects across skyscrapers, public infrastructure, and just plain silly proposals (I’m looking at you SAUDI). Keep up the great work! Much love from Chicago <3 -John Rollins
Cretin City

I guess they think their being cute, but they’re just not funny. Listening to them mock other cultures with elementary school jokes wasn’t what I was looking for. Was expecting a much better product from B1M having seen their YouTube videos. Very disappointed with the low brow conversation and dismissiveness of some incredible projects. I wanted details and inside info and instead got lame British snark.
Stick to buildings

Really funny to listen to British dudes criticize American water infrastructure based on a single city with <100,000 people when the UK still discharges raw sewage into rivers
