The X-Files Podcast

Dean and Josh love the X-Files almost as much as they love (and simultaneously hate, it's complicated) themselves. Be it their observations, jokes, or wild scenarios - one thing is clear - they will make themselves laugh a lot, but don't worry dear listener - they will have you convinced that it's all about you. The greatest crime and irony of this show is that tons of women show up to the live shows on Mixlr, and lots of the reviews suggest that they hate women (likely written by weird men). Subscribe and you'll love it -- or you'll hate it, but it's something that will stick with you no matter how much you wash.

    Final Episode/"Gethsemane"/March Madness Monster Mash

    Good morning X-Files faithful! During the live recording I officially announced that “Gethsemane” would be LSG’s last X-Files recording. I did not come to this decision easily, and ultimately this decision rests with me. The most difficult part of this realization was knowing that I would no longer be talking to all of you about the X-Files. I wanted to thank all of you for being there with us during the live recordings, and for always commenting on our Facebook posts, and for always making our various contests fun and engaging. You are one of the best communities going. I wanted to thank Josh for his contribution to this show over the years. He’s been a fine co-host and producer. Make sure you show him some support and check out his podcast, Nastgram (https://www.facebook.com/Nastygram/). They are producing content weekly, and if you’ve ever been curious about things like D&D and other role-playing games, I’d highly recommend it. It’s well produced, and he’s assembled a great group around him. As for myself and LSG Media my hope is that you check out The Lost Drive-In and Kirking Off. Finally, if any of you want to start an X-Files podcast I would be more than happy to help you out with that process. I know some listeners have expressed interest in teaming up with each other to start something, and I fully encourage that.     An episode in which Josh and Dean were hoping for literal demons not the cute metaphorical ones. Additionally, the lads discuss Gen-X Mulder's self-torturing ways and how outrageous it would be to not be jumping for joy to get out of jail. Mulder should consider utilizing a lawyer, and listening to what Scully is saying instead of doing his best impersonation as the Incredible Sulk. Not a terrible episode, but does it do enough to get dubbed a 'like' from Josh and Dean?     It appears as if the X-Files Podcast has been temporarily extended, and come to find out, "Hot Potato" Pendrell had a first name, but don't ask Scully what that name is, as she has no idea whatsoever. She is too distracted by her whimsical monologue about Mulder's gift and the sacrifice of 'great' men. Additionally, we learn that Scully, the most qualified doctor in the bar where Agent Pendrell was fatally shot, decides that she is going to run around with her gun, rather than administer life-saving aid to her rapidly expiring coworker. And dear listener, don't fret, we WILL talk about the finer points of the episode.
