Turkey Leg Hut Charging $100 Via Cash App for a Table?

On today's podcast, we decided to talk about the new rule that Turkey Leg Hut implemented. We also had a convo about supporting black businesses for quality/standards or simply because it is a "black business". Do we hold black businesses to the same standards as we would a non-black business? Finally, Derrick told us about his own experience that he had with Turkey Leg Hut. Can We Talk About Something Other than the Slap?

*Content Warning: We do speak on domestic abuse in this episode. We had to deep dive into what we saw over this weekend at the Oscars. Instead of only talking about "the slap", we wanted to talk about the why and how we think it even got to this point. We also gave our own views on how this incident made us feel like men. We also talked about how this moment overshadowed the black excellence of that night. Make sure to follow us on Instagram at Therapy For Your Unpopular Opinion.

Idols vs. People, When do you view idols as people?

Idols vs. People, When do you view idols as people?

For the season one finale we are joined by Jonathan P to discuss celebrity and where is the cutoff point where we stop looking at people as "idols" but rather as humans. Celebrity seems to create a false reality for the general public to think that celebrities do not go through their own serious battles we will never see. Also we discuss whether or not one can separate the positive programming of "The Cosby Show" from the man behind it, Bill Cosby. To wrap it up Jonathan tells a little bit about is background. Don't forget to check us out on Instagram @therapyforyourunpopularopinions and let us now your thoughts about season one. We appreciate everybody who has taken time to listen to the show and give us a review (good or bad) and we cannot wait to reach a whole new level for season two!!!

Great dialogue on interesting topics

I really enjoy listening to the different perspectives on various topics. It’s interesting to hear how guys think and how they get their points across. If it wasn’t for Kwon being the voice of reason this review might have went a different direction though LOL! Definitely recommend.

Great Dialogue!

As a HBCU graduate, this conversation was well needed and appreciated. The guys on this podcast discussed and answered a lot of things that I think about regarding college and the experience I had as a student. I look forward to more content!

Great info

I enjoyed listening to the different perspectives of being in college and routes taken. As a first Gen student I could relate to not knowing about financial aid and receiving money. These students need a Kwon in their life. I needed a Kwon when I was in school.
