Today I sit down (remotely, but still...I assume we were both sitting) with Joe Bauman, who shares his own personal Atheist Story Time in addition to addressing a very important, VERY under-acknowledged segment of the addiction & substance abuse treatment arena: navigating the road to recovery as a non-believer. We discuss the struggles of depression and addiction, the prevalence of religion within the recovery community, and how it can be both a blessing (no pun intended) and a curse, depending on the needs of the individual.

I am a believer
What a loser with tiny wiener!
So so many things I can say about this… SO I WILL!! having personal experience with what I guess we could say as a “man” who I have had the displeasure of ever coming in contact with, I would expect nothing less from his Napoleonic complex. I would expect someone who is narrow minded, shallow and egotistical as he is it would make perfect sense he would have this kind of ideology. I myself don’t necessarily prescribe to any of the drugs people call religion, as a matter of fact most of them are all the same when you take the time to do your research. But someone like Noah who refuses to see anyone’s opinions other than his own regardless of the fact they are right or not just for their shows his little man syndrome having self. I’m half tempted to make thousands of bots just to put one stars on this podcast and make it disappear. Because you don’t have any control over my life now but I can absolutely make yours enjoyable as I possibly can.
