Growing up Verenice had no concept of a Father in her household. Everyone she knew including herself, grew up Fatherless. Yet, she knew there was something in her heart that longed for that relationship. She would cry for him in her sleep though she didn't know exactly what she was crying for, what it was she was missing, or what a Father was suppose to be. All she knew of him was his voice over the phone. One day a phone call came and she learned she would never hear his voice again. The first time she would see her dad was lying in his casket at his funeral. Her emotions were complicated, how do you grieve someone you never met? The impact of the relationship she never had would rear its ugly head as Verenice got older. Without correct reference points for how a man should treat her, Verenice found herself repeating the self destructive patterns she saw around her.
TUNE IN to hear Verenice's story how Jesus saved her, blessed her, and broke the generational curse. Now she has two beautiful children growing up with a father and a mother. Verenice testifies "they Know who we were, but THEY DON'T KNOW US LIKE THAT"
