Things That Are Blank - Game Show
Things That are Blank is a podcast game show that takes the best elements of the Pyramid game shows and board game Taboo and combines them for a high energy compeition. Two contestants are paired up with the Oakes Media Group irregulars. On each turn a team has one player trying to get the other to say the words on a card without saying anything that will get them buzzed. At the end of 3 rounds a champion is crowned.

I’ve listened to every episode that’s available and they just keep getting better. So much better than trivial Warfare. If you don’t believe me, go listen to it. 😉
Good Idea, Could Be Fun

Like the other shows that fall under the Trivial Warfare umbrella, if you can ignore Jonathan’s cockiness and the condescension with which he speaks to others, it can be an enjoyable experience. Sometimes I can handle it, and I listen. Other times, especially when he seems to be picking on Chris (who seems like a very sweet guy) I can’t listen to the whole show. Sure, you can write it off as him just “giving his friend a hard time”, but what it sounds like most days is a bully who is very aware that he has an audience, and that ruins the show for me. I might tune in now again, hoping that Jonathan has turned the cockiness down a notch or two, but unfortunately so far it is just as present as it is on the other two podcasts that I have heard from this team.
