October 7, 1984: The Charles Munroe Brown house collapses on the MacArthur Causeway (with Don Slesnick)

I was on duty with the City of Miami Fire Department when this happened. The unit I was assigned to that day responded to the scene. What a mess! I was angry that I didn’t have my camera with me.

Miami History is so short, that it is possible that older listeners may remember many of the events discussed here. For me, the episode on Pope John Paul II’s visit took me right back to riding home in my absolutely drenched clothing after that massive thunder storm! Thanks!
