This Naked Voice

Words that come to mind when describing Mr. Cardella’s gem of a podcast are: raw, honest, thought-provoking, vulnerable, affirming, warm, fearless, authentic, eye-opening, and genuinely curious. He has clearly invested his heart and soul into this endeavor and the result is disarming. These are often conversations one might avoid having even with a best friend for fear of exposing weakness, yet his voice and his words clearly telegraph to the listener that it’s okay; you’re in a safe place here. I leave each episode much like I leave any given episode of The Moth…feeling more connected to my humanity and to other humans. Thank you so much for sharing your soul, Joey. This podcast has impacted my thinking and life philosophies and I’m sure it has touched many other lives as well. 🙏🏻✌🏼

Knowing Joey personally, I have to say I’m beyond impressed with yet again another talented that he has developed. His voice alone is just wonderful to hear!! His pilot was inspiring, he de one brought me even to tears. He is worth listening too!! So do it!

I have been thinking about starting a podcast of my own recently. I know if Harlan, so I listened to that one and the first one. This is so much of what I want to speak about so I think a prudent thing to do is to say I wanna be a guest and see how that goes before I really get rolling announcing to the world that I’m committed to joining the fray. Wow. Rambly. Punctuation is hard but speaking can flow. 🤙
