I decided to start this podcast as a way to journal my experience here, keep my friends and family in the loop about what is going on, and to provide a resource to anybody who is curious about law school.

I came here without knowing what to expect, since I haven't really known any lawyers very well. There was a lot of mystery and suspense surrounding the whole process, so I just wanted to give you the layperson's perspective as I try and figure everything out.

If you are interested in law school, I will do my best to make this as useful a tool for you as possible and get rid of some of the cloudy mystery that surrounds this type of education.

I hope you enjoy it!

The semester is over! I can't believe it!

This week at law school, I fell sick and struggled to make it through the last week of classes.

This week on the show I interviewed my good friend Jackson Skinner and I talk a little bit about my preparations for the final exams. I also share a few tips on outlining and a little bit about my studying process.

Thanks so much to everyone who has been listening. If you know somebody who would get a kick out of it, please don't hesitate to share it.

    Episode 11 - Thanksgiving Break

    Episode 11 - Thanksgiving Break

This week at law school I celebrated Thanksgiving with family and ate an inhuman quantity of food.

I interviewed the awesome Christina Chan and learned about some of her great perspectives.

I also talk a little bit about the history of animal law and how it has evolved over time. Spoiler alert, there are killer geese involved.

If this sounds like something you are interested in then tune in for this week at law school!

Special thanks to all of you who have been listening to the show. I really appreciate your support.

A unique breath of fresh air

When looking at different professional programs, most podcasts and YouTube videos are solely focused on how to get it. Topics like: this is how I did awesome on my standardized exam, these are all my awesome extracurriculars, and how you can write the best personal statement. Those videos are useful but there is significantly less information about the daily lives of those individuals going through it. That is why I enjoy this podcast, it gives a more personal and human view of what these rigorous programs are like. Instead of talking about “this year at law school I did all these incredibly difficult things,” without really talking about how you did them, Tom breaks it down on a weekly basis and gives a good perspective on the grind of law school.
