Hilarious, Faith Building Fun

Can’t recommend this podcast enough. Every episode is a perfect mixture of apologetic thought, phenomenal chemistry between hosts & guests, and hilarious interactions with culture that make you laugh out loud while you’re being challenged to think Christianly about music and pop culture. Fantastic resource for youth leaders/pastors as well.

Nerdy, funny, edifying

Searching Apple Podcasts for “apologetics”, I didn’t expect to see a U2 reference. I certainly didn’t expect to hear nerdy (and funny, and deep) conversations about superhero movies and rock n’ roll to go along with the apologetics.

And yet, these are 3 things that I think about. I’m glad to find a couple other nerds who do the same. In the end, all human forms of expression (like music and film) grapple with the big questions that can only be satisfactorily answered by the Bible.

I was hooked after listening to my first episode. I had been wondering for years about how Judas Iscariot really died — now I have more peace about it than ever before.

OK, now for the gratuitous attempt at humor.... I’m Clay Jonesin’ for one o’ them fancy capos! (Just got me a new acoustic and it needs one!)

Q: If indeed the hundreds of witnesses to Jesus’s resurrection were having a collective hallucination, what would be another name for this?

A: The world’s first solipsist convention!

Finally... I haven’t found anything that Garrick is wrong about yet, but y’all should know: Eddie Money lives!

If I were one of Europe’s greatest leaders....

....and I found myself trapped in San Dimas I would totally listen to this podcast because, unlike Nickelback, it rocks.
