Begrudgingly hooked!
Despite my better judgement, I can’t stop listening and dreaming of days on the Trail. Cody is corny, granted, but his folks are adorable, his “trafamily” is endearing, and actually his tales are teaching me, linking me to a new mindset and a potential new future. I’m enjoying!

Juvenile monologue and bizarre mother dialogues. Not a helpful podcast about thru hiking. Looking for better content not self centered ruminations
Like listening to a friend talk
I’m invested because I enjoy listening to his journey, highs and lows. His monologues are always interesting and I have enjoyed listening to how he has evolved over the months with his emotions, happiness in life etc.
A lot of it is boring, I think the editing could be done better in regard to the audio with trail family conversations. I feel like I’ve come up on a group of friends and no one is bothering to explain the inside joke, so I leave. I’ve had to fast forward through their chatter, especially the “would you want to be x or z” episode.
It got really interesting when he starts dating HoneyFox and hopefully the editing shows how that evolves.
