Main Ep 11: Alison Botha, the Survivor

Main Ep 11: Alison Botha, the Survivor

This week’s episode is the unbelievable survival story of Alison Botha, a woman who went through so many unfathomable things, but lived to tell her story. I feel so honored to get to discuss this amazing woman and her enduring strength. Trigger Warning: sexual assault, violence, attempted murder.

Main Ep 10: Religious Trauma & Red Flags with Stacy

Main Ep 10: Religious Trauma & Red Flags with Stacy

If you're into tea about people you do not know, this ep is for you! Stacy Bailey joins the pod this week to get very honest with our host. Audree and Stacy have been friends for a long time but have never discussed the red flags they saw in one another's relationships that did eventually end up in divorce, so they talk that out for the first time on this episode. Along the way, they hit on religious trauma, world views, and much, much more! It's a weirdly funny yet vulnerable episode.

This time we dig into "The Stepfather" horror movie series and how close it keeps to the true story of John List (the true crime story we dug into in Part 1). Your host, Audree, watched 3 Stepfather movies, spanning from the '80s to the remake in 2009 to discuss all the similarities, differences, and wacky inspirations of the series.

Main Ep 8: The Tortured Poets Department with Kelsey

Main Ep 8: The Tortured Poets Department with Kelsey

Surprise! An early main episode with Kelsey has dropped! Today we're reacting to Taylor Swift's new album: The Tortured Poets Department. Kelsey came over late on a week night to share her opinions loudly just for all of you (and for me)! It was a blast and the pod covers our theories for what the album could be about, our individual reactions and thoughts about each song as we listen through, and ultimately our overall impression of the album based on the first listen. Our opinions are bound to change over time with more listens, but the first impressions we had are forever frozen in this recording posted to the internet to haunt us forever!

Fun and Always Different!

I’m excited that based on the description and intro this is going g to be a show that changes topics and guests and should have it’s place in multiple spaces! And to start with Taylor Swift was a great way for the host to showcase her personality!
