Excellent podcast
I'd like to address Diana and LeCheesehead reviews: I feel like you don't understand the concept. This Daily News BRIEFING (note the word BRIEF) is just a quick few minutes headlines to address some news of the day. It is NOT a full hour or so newscast.....for that, you need to to elsewhere. Claudia's podcast is awesome. Look forward to it every day. THANKS!
Claudia’s irritating narrator style
I want to like this podcast, but Claudia overdoes the game show host intonation trying to be really playful and fun. I find her personality boosting vocal stylings distracting and annoying at times. She has a lovely normal reading voice so I wish she would just stick with that.
My ears can’t take it
I feel bad saying this, but my ears can’t take it. Claudia, the host of this show, uses a voice that is unnatural, terribly annoying, and grating. She sounds like a bad replacement for a game show host or, like another reviewer said, someone auditioning for community theater (who doesn’t get the part). I really wanted to find a podcast for local news to start my day, but this is absolutely not the one. Whoever produces this show should rethink their entire approach.
