morning routine

Old morning routine: Listen to The Daily. New morning routine: Listen to Punchbowl News and The Daily. I have no idea if Jake Sherman and Anna Palmer are republicans or democrats, and that is perfectly fine by me. Refreshing, quick, interesting analysis.

I tuned it to give them a try. After starting with 2 minutes of solid commercials I gave up.

I enjoy listening to Anna.

Jake, well, I think of him as “the daily smug.” He comes across as a DC insider who thinks we should listen to what he has to say because, well, he’s a DC insider! Yet his “analysis” seems to not consider the context of today’s political environment. Half of the time I’m left wondering why he’s so upset. More reporting, less editorializing.
