Good morning, New York City! This is your weather update for a day that's about to get pretty interesting.

We've got a High Wind Watch in effect, so buckle up and stay alert. Today's forecast is a winter weather rollercoaster that'll keep you on your toes.

This afternoon, expect snow to start rolling in after 2 PM. We're looking at temperatures hovering near 36 degrees Fahrenheit with winds shifting from calm to a gentle south breeze around 5 to 9 miles per hour. Snow accumulation could be around one inch, so keep those windshield scrapers handy.

Tonight gets even more dramatic. Snow will transition to rain between 8 and 10 PM, with temperatures climbing to about 37 degrees by 1 AM. Expect a southeast wind around 7 to 10 miles per hour.

Sunday brings more precipitation excitement. Rain will dominate the morning, shifting to showers by 9 AM. Temperatures will spike to near 53 degrees with winds getting spicy - potentially gusting up to 32 miles per hour.

Sunday night will be chilly with wind chills between 15 and 25 degrees. Those west winds could howl up to 30 miles per hour with gusts reaching 50 miles per hour.

Washington's Birthday looks mostly sunny but windy, with highs near 35 degrees and west winds around 25 to 29 miles per hour.

The rest of the week looks relatively calmer with mostly sunny days and temperatures ranging from the low 20s to low 30s. Wednesday and Thursday might bring a chance of snow.
