Hey New York City! This is your weather wizard coming in hot with today's forecast.
Buckle up for a wild ride today! We're looking at showers and possibly a thunderstorm this afternoon with temperatures climbing to a mild 55 degrees Fahrenheit. There's a 90 percent chance of precipitation, so grab that umbrella!
Tonight keeps the party going with continued showers and potential thunderstorms before 10 pm. Temperatures will hover steady around 54 degrees Fahrenheit. Those winds will still be dancing, blowing from the south at 25 to 30 miles per hour, and gradually calming down after midnight.
Thursday brings a bit of relief with partly sunny skies and temperatures dropping to around 48 degrees Fahrenheit by evening. Friday looks bright and sunny with a high near 48 degrees Fahrenheit, though still breezy with west winds.
The weekend is looking pretty sweet - mostly sunny with highs around 45 to 46 degrees Fahrenheit. Next week? Even warmer, with temperatures climbing to a lovely 60 degrees Fahrenheit by Tuesday and 63 by Wednesday.
