Bauerle returns to the program and wants to know from you, now that the dust has mostly settled from COVID, how did COVID change your life? How did COVID change America at large?

Joe Beamer, filling in for Bauerle again, leads off today's program with talking about the Palestine/Israel protests on campuses and your thoughts on that. Also, apart from the usual suspects, gas and groceries, what other items have you noticed an increase in price due to inflation? And, have you ever gotten a surprise check in the mail?

 

Joe Beamer, in for Bauerle, starts off by touching on the tragic situation over the weekend where six teens were shot on Jefferson Avenue, leaving one dead. What is causing all this violence amongst kids?

Also, Beamer touches on the lack of employees working downtown these days, what can be done about this, and do you think technology has advanced as far as you thought it would 10, 20 years ago? 

The majority of the program today is spent talking about home ownership, is it still part of the 'American Dream'? Also, we touch on a number of ancillary topics, such as stories of terrible landlords/tenants, Polish versus Italian sausage, and what is the most pressing issue facing Western New York, and America at large?

We open the program today with a story from north of the border, the Ontario Provincial Police are warning people to be prepared to perform mandatory alcohol screenings during every traffic stop as they crack down on impaired driving in the Greater Toronto Area, should we consider something like this in New York State.

Also, we talk motorcycles as the weather improves and motorcycles start coming back out. What do motorcyclists and drivers do that annoy each other on the roads? Also, a call from this topic spurs the follow up topic of injuries. What is the worst injury you've sustained or worst pain you've ever felt?

Among the topics of discussion on the program today, with the number of anti-Israel protests we've seen on college campuses recently, for our Jewish listeners, do you feel threatened as a Jew in America?

Also, we re-visit a topic from yesterday's program, what is the most uncomfortable conversation you've had to have with someone? And, it seems like every show, a good call is ruined by poor cell phone service, begging the question, where in WNY is cell service the worst?
