I randomly met Sam on the mats as a fellow Jiu Jiteiro, and discovered that we are both a part of the same 26XX/0206 community. The volume of experience and wisdom from Sam and his guests is invaluable. Not only is there much to learn and appreciate with respect to the 2600 community in this podcast, but there are many other fine lessons about living a full and balanced life. Really well done podcast. Audio quality is good. The guests are sincere and share meaningful insight on personal and professional journey within the Corps. Sammy does a great job in his prep work and keeping the conversation flowing. Love seeing the pop up when new episodes are available.

Great show, great entertainment, and a lot of value-added to people who listen. In the military, we have this tradition of passing on our stories. It’s more than just entertainment - the implied purpose is to bond and to mentor anyone within earshot. To ensure the people destined to replace us learn from the mistakes we made. Top Game does this. It reaches our community and allows senior members of our community to explain what’s going on, explain why, and explain what got them to where they are. To the 19-25 year-old group of Marines who perform the bulk of our work, it’s an invaluable source of support. To those of us in the middle of our careers, it’s a great forum to understand the people making advocating for us. And for everyone, it’s a great illustration of who we are as Marines. We still have struggles, we still have obstacles, we just get stuff done.
