    By 2025 GenZ will account for over 27% of the workforce. 

    There is a lot of conversation about GenZ: there are words like lazy, flippant, instant gratification and constant change seekers being thrown around and there is a lot of negative rhetoric in the media about GenZ in the workplace. Lauren Meisner, a GenZ and Internet Culture expert explains how workplaces can embrace GenZ employees, outlines what responsibilities employers have, and explains why GenZ have an increased demand for transparency.

    Lauren talks about misinformation on the internet, and answers the tough questions around cancel culture and if someone can truly be canceled forever.

    Lauren shares her thoughts on the decline of media literacy in the emerging generations and dives into the discussion around whether there should be stricter regulations on online anonymity to prevent cyberbullying and harassment, or if anonymity is essential for free expression?

    As a GenZ and Internet Culture expert, Lauren breaks down which brands are communicating to Gen Z correctly and which ones aren’t? As well as explaining that Gen Z’s simply don’t buy into aspirational influencer culture with the same excitement that Millennials once did and what this means for influencer marketing.  

    Lauren touches on her own podcasting journey, and why she isn’t publishing content on Meta instead leaning on platforms like TikTok to publish her full podcast episodes. She also draws a line on what’s in and what’s out when it comes to things like; ‘slay’, working remotely, emojis, snapchat, and many other things which are being hotly debated among generations.
