Totally Rad Christmas!
It's a show about the raddest time of year in the baddest decade ever! That's right! We talk all things Christmas in the '80s to the max! Toys, movies, specials, music, books, games, comics, decorations, food, fashion, and fads--if it was gnarly during Christmas in the '80s, we got it covered!
So fun!

As a Gen Xer (kid in the 80’s, teenager in the early 90’s) this podcast hits every nostalgic sweet spot. Gerry is a delight and it’s obvious he has a real affinity for everything he covers. I definitely prefer when he covers movies and TV and generally skip the episodes where he dissects pieces of music and specific songs. Most of the guests add a lot of fun insight to the discussions. A few exceptions were the two annoying, drunk ladies on the Who’s the Boss episode and the woman who seemed really bored and disinterested in the NKOTB episodes. I was really looking forward to those episodes, but the cohosts made them unlistenable. Also, you would think the Rankin Bass “expert” (Rick something) would be a treasure trove of information, but his voice and delivery is like watching paint dry 😴 Fortunately there have only been a few misses in a string of great episodes.

I had often found what I had believed to had been certain parts of what I had believed to had been certain installments of this "Totally Rad Christmas" to had been interesting, enjoyable, likeable, and unlikeable (or unenjoyable, ridiculous, vulgar, insulting, and detrimental).
Awesome! Totally Awesome!

If you grew up in the 80s, you won't find a better podcast than Totally Rad Christmas. Gerry's a great host, and I'm not saying that just because he's had me on so many times.
