Yes, this is another pop culture podcast. But it's my pop culture podcast. I talk about anyone from Kim Kardashian to Dolly Parton and Charli XCX. Basically we keep up with new tv shows, movies, celebrity memoirs and what color of hair Miley has that week. This is a show where you don't have to think too much.     75: THE GRAMMYS AND OTHER THINGS

    Music's biggest night was last night and there was excitement and also heartbreak. Taylor and Billie did not receive a single award even though they were nominated for 7 awards each. Sabrina, Charli, Chappell and Doechii all won their first Grammy Awards. Benson Boone, Raye, Shakira, Lady Gaga and many more performed. And Beyonce finally won Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter. Lady Gaga is on the cover of Elle magazine this month and she has also announced the name of her 7th album, Mayhem, which comes out March 7th. Have y'all ever watched Beast Games? It's very interesting to say the least. David Beckham has a new ad for Hugo Boss underwear and it's everything we ever wanted. Kylie Jenner, Dua Lipa and Lily Rose Depp were at the Chanel fashion show last week and they all looked amazing. Riley Green and Megan Moroney keep teasing us with cryptic Instagram posts. Are they together or are they not? Madison Beer has a new documentary out about her 'Spinnin' tour. Stars all showed up for the FireAid benefit concert. And last but not least, Olivia and Sabrina were spotted at the Grammys giving each other a hug. The war is over 3 Thanks for listening! 3 Kacey

    74: HANNAH MONTANA'S DAD MAKES ME SAD

    I haven't had an Alani in 7 days. Are you guys proud of me? Billy Ray Cyrus has caused a rift in his family that will most likely never heal. Miley hasn't spoken to him in years and has no plans to any time soon. If you saw his performance at the inauguration then you'll understand that he is clearly going through some things. Katy Perry has announced her US leg of her Lifetimes tour, and trust I will be going. Rihanna has been seen going into a music studio. We need to manifest an album being made. Kate Hudson has a new show coming out on Netflix called, Running Point. Kate takes over the family business and is now in charge their basketball team. iHeartRadio has announced that Taylor is being given the Tour Of the Century award. A new 9 to 5 movie is in the works, with Jennifer Anniston at the head of it. She has some very famous women in mind to play the 3 lead roles. Lukas Gage has announced he has a new book coming out titled, I Wrote This for Attention. Lady Gaga, aka Mother Monster, will be releasing some news about her upcoming album any minute now. Doja Cat, Raye and Lisa have collaborated on a new song, Born Again, that comes out on February 6th. The infamous Britani Bateman has joined the Presidio brokerage and is now a realtor. Catch her next season on Sold on SLC. A$SAP Rocky has not taken the plea deal in his case against him shooting his friend in the hands. If convicted he could face up to 24 years in prison. And last but not least, Brook Shields has a new book out, Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old.

    73: GOODBYE/HELLO TIK TOK

    What a whirlwind week it's been. People crying (me) and saying goodbye to their audiences on Tik Tok only for it to be banned for a total of 14 hours. But who cares? It's back and that's all that matters. Christina Haaks from the show Flip or Flop was on a radio show this week talking about her divorce from her husband and how it is not going well. She gave him some money to "live" and he went and bought a Bentley. So she hired the famous celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser to take the trash out. Severance season 2 is finally out and they had one of the coolest marketing campaigns I've ever seen. Baby One More Time is now in the Billions Club on Spotify. It is Britney's second song to achieve this. Many Grammy related events have been canceled and record labels are putting the money towards relief funds for LA fire victims. Rolling Stones has put Addison Rae on their February cover, hinting at an album release from the Tik Tok star. Jessica and Jessica (Simpson & Alba) both announced this week that they are separating from their husbands. The Mahomes family just got bigger. They welcomed their 3rd child on January 12th. Trisha Paytas has announced she is going on tour starting in February. Kim Kardashian is advocating for incarcerated firefighters, stating that they need to be paid more. They currently only make $26.50 for a 24 hour shift. A number of artists have come together for a benefit concert, FirAid. The proceeds will go towards the victims of the LA fires. And last but not least, a woman was scammed out of almost $1 million because she thought she was talking to Brad Pitt. Thanks for listening! 3 Kacey

    72: LADY GAGA! WE LOVE HER AGAIN!

    Lady Gaga has broken yet another record, tying Michael Jackson for multiple #1 hits in 3 different decades. Beyoncè is set to make an announcement on the 14th and everyone is speculating on what it could be. In my opinion it is a tour announcement. The Traitors season 3 has officially started and the stakes are even higher. Rumors are that Tom Holland and Zendaya are engaged. Amy Schumer has a new movie, Kinda Pregnant, coming out in February on Netflix. The energy drink company Alani has another celeb collaboration, this time with country singer Meghan Maroney. Her drink will taste like watermelons and lemons. It has been reported that Christopher Nolans newest movie will have a budget of $250 million, making it one of the most expensive movies ever made. Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel posted a story on Tik Tok of how she went to the premier of "It Ends with Us", and how the vibes were so off that she left early. Cher told Jimmy Kimmel that she doesn't have a last name. She had her name legally changed to just "Cher." Camila Cabello has a new billionaire boyfriend. Good for her. The Lizzie McGuire movie is celebrating its 24th birthday and I am now having my 5th quarter life crisis.     71: ARE YOU CALLING THE QUEEN OF RAP A LIAR?

    Nicki Minaj's new year isn't starting off to a good start. A former tour manager is pressing charges against the rapper, claiming that she assaulted him. Speaking of assault, a Cyber Truck was parked at the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. Oh and it exploded. The Kardashians are finally retiring to television. The royal family of the United States released an ad revealing that their show will be returning to Hulu on February 6th. Gypsy Rose is now a mother. She gave birth to a baby girl just in time for New Years. Sports Illustrated has named Simone Biles as the Sportsperson of the Year. Tom Holland is on the cover of Men's Health and in the article he claims that once he has kids he will disappear from Hollywood. Lauren Sanchez's vacation was interrupted by Customs when they showed up randomly on Jeff Bezos' super yacht. We got the sad news a few days ago that Aubrey Plaza's husband has passed away. Ozzy Osbourne said he once drank an ungodly amount of alcohol to get through the Christmas season. And last but not least, the It Ends With Us drama has just been catapulted to another level.     70: THAT'S A WRAP ON 2024

    It's hard to believe that 2024 is officially over. So many things happened in pop culture, from the rise of Chappell Roan and the bizarre pop up Willy Wonka experience. It Ends With us had us all in a chokehold (and still does) with all their drama. Diddy is an absolute disgrace. Zoo animals took over Tik Tok and speaking of Tik Tok, it was unanimously banned by the government but also not really. Mariah Carey was spotted in Aspen with Anderson Paak, sparking dating rumors. The Beyoncè Bowl had more viewers than the actual football game on Christmas Day, no surprise. I consumed the tv shows Landman and No Good Deed at alarmingly fast rates and you should too. Adam Sandler gave us a sneak peak at the new Happy Gilmore movie, coming to Netflix in 2025. Christopher Nolan has announced his newest movie he is working on, The Odyssey. Rumors are going around that Miss Worldwide, aka Due Lipa, is engaged to actor Callum Turner. Former president, Jimmy Carter, has passed away at the age of 100. Most people dream about being as good of person as he was. Gal Gadot posted on Instagram that she had a health scare during her 8th month of pregnancy.     69: APPARENTLY IT HASN'T ENDED WITH US

    Just when we were just forgetting about the It Ends With Us drama, another stone was thrown. Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. She's stating that he made the movie set toxic and she felt uncomfortable with things he was saying and doing to her. She also says she wasn't allowed to talk about the deeper meaning of the movie and was told to promote it as a rom com. In happier news, Paris Hilton's law was unanimously passed in Congress. The Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act is now headed to the President's desk. Grace O' Malley signs onto Alex Coopers network after her and Brianna told the world that their podcast was coming to an end. Rihanna had a great time at Mariah Carey's concert, especially when Mimi signed her boob. Filming for Stranger Things has officially ended. Some of the cast have been posting farewell posts about their time working on the world famous show. Rumor has it that Justin Bieber is going to drop a new single soon, followed by a new album. Rumor also has it that Beyoncè and Kacey Musgraves are working together on a new project. Another superhero movie is among us. The new trailer for the newest Superman has dropped. The movie, directed by James Gunn, is expected to come to theaters in July. A new (mini) version of Carpool Karaoke is now on AppleTV.     68: BILLIONAIRES TAKE NOTE

    Not all billionaires are bad. Some of them give away $197 million dollars in bonuses. Any guesses who it could be? The Golden Globe nominations are out and 4 of the girls that raised my generation are all nominated. Who would have thought when we were watching Hannah Montana and Victorious that these ladies would all be a part of something so much bigger in the future? Gracie Abrams is going on tour in the US and was kind enough to only give us stops. And yes, that is me being bitter that I wasn't able to get tickets. Paris and Nicole were on the Call Her Daddy podcast to promote their new Simple Life reunion special. They talk about how they've been friends since they were kids and told us about their not so normal childhoods. Kim Kardashian opened another SKIMS location. This time on the coveted shopping street 5th Avenue in New York City. She arrived in style, riding on a scooter because of an accident that left her with a broken foot. Even with a broken bone she looked stunning. The new American Psycho has been chosen. Elvis himself will play the role of Patrick Bateman. Obviously I'm not talking about the real Elvis and instead about Austin Butler. Let's hope he doesn't get too into method acting for this role. Friends has a new gameshow on MAX for the 30th anniversary and it is hosted by Whitney Cummings. Kris Jenner joined Kylie in modeling for the newest launch of KHY (Kylie's clothing brand). And we can end on a strange note. Bella Hadid made a cameo in and episode of Yellowstone. Random? Yes. Necessary for her new country life? Also yes. Thanks for listening! 3 Kacey
