She started as a traditional gynecological surgeon and transitioned her career to focus on regenerative and integrated medicine. Recognizing the urgent need to tackle stubborn aging symptoms, she focuses solely on regenerative medicine, aiming to address root causes and promote optimal health without relying on pharmaceuticals. Dr. Hall is passionate about guiding clients to attain peak well-being and proactively ward off the expected decline, employing established natural and regenerative approaches. Dr. Hall's Notes from the Sidelines: With traditional medicine, we're putting bandaids on diseases; let's go to the root cause. When menopause happens, estrogen is gone because the ovaries stop working, resulting in increased stress, blood sugar, LDL cholesterol, and inflammation... which is the perfect storm for cancer. We're energetic beings; each person is unique. Functional medicine looks at the whole body and takes a multi-cause approach to prevention. Whereas western, traditional medicine doesn't do prevention. As Joseph Campbell says, "Follow your bliss." Extended use of the birth control pill can result in brain fog, depression, fatigue, inability to concentrate, uncertainty about sexuality, and weight gain. Estrogen is very important for the brain and is critical for the prevention of neurodegeneration. Individualizing medicine and taking genetics into account is not the traditional method, but it is the functional method. When it comes to your health, seek out the top people in the field and listen to them for your medical information. Advice for menopausal women: recognize the symptoms in your body, have the confidence to tell your doctor what you need because you know your body best, and go to a skilled practitioner who's used to looking at hormones. Tina was involved with NFL linebacker, Shaun Phillips, with whom she had twin boys. The relationship became physically and emotionally abusive, causing fear, turmoil, and financial strain. Her sons were born premature with serious medical issues, and Tina was left to care for them and fight a lengthy, and still unresolved, battle for child support. She turned her pain into power and purpose, by putting her story out there, starting the "Know Your Power" movement, and supporting as many women as she possibly can. Tina's Notes from the Sidelines: Be thankful for the things right in front of you. If you go about your business and take care of what's important to you, eventually you can deal with other things as they come up. Every day is a new day. If you can get through what you already got through, then you know you can get through anything. Trust your instincts and intuition. Don't focus on the negativity. You have your own situation and you have to look at yourself and know you're the only one who knows all the pieces to your puzzle. Dig deep and know what you want for yourself and your kids. Take control, decide, and let go. Don't beat yourself up if you're not financially secure. Put together a plan, write down daily goals, check them off as you finish them, and if you don't know where to start... as someone for help. Open your ears, listen, and be receptive. There are so many caring people in this world and people who want friends. Don't make any big decisions in one day; take a moment to sit with it. Come forward with your story; don't stay quiet. Utopia is not a fairytale. It's being grateful for the day today, and being of sound mind and health so you can move forward. "God transcends religion...Religion is our perspective on where we saw the accident happen at the intersection...It's our interpretation." You have to have a vehicle for hope. When facing challenges, know that you are in a season of growth and something big is about to happen. "Speak what you seek 'til you see what you said." The words we say have power. We call HIM into collaboration with us by simply speaking our words. He's always listening, so be careful. You don't have to stay stuck; you don't have to accept current circumstance as a sentence. Hope and doubt are both beliefs - one positive and one negative. Your faith is in the middle, equidistant from both. HELP is a complete and sufficient prayer; you don't need other words because he's all-seeing and all-knowing. After asking for help, knock on the doors of opportunity, and don't stop just because one person says no. God sends us seasons to season us, so be ready when the season changes to do the new thing that has been sent to you. BELIEVE. When you learn how to pick yourself up from nothing, it burns away all the negative self-talk because you prove yourself against your own thoughts. You CAN afford to leave; you'll figure it out. Life is too short to be on the floor crying in the bathroom. There are no mistakes; life is what it is. The more you can talk about the things you've been through, the more you realize that there are no mistakes; life can just be really hard sometimes, and life can be really great, but it doesn't make you a bad or good person. Trust your gut; it's always right. And don't give your power away. Maybe there's a lesson and it will make me more grateful. To accept lack of control and practice patience, feel the frustration in your body, find something grounding, and go back to basics and feel grateful and accomplished, and then FEEL JOY.
