I just want to thank Elisabeth and Jennifer for putting all of this information out there. I totally relate to everything you talk about and love learning the science of it all. As a former practicing engineer I enjoy digging into the neuroscience of our brain and what I realize are outputs of my nervous system. I’ve always been highly sensitive and used to have panic attacks as a child. Over the past year or so I have gone through a full awakening. I realized I have AdHD (after having a son and daughter diagnosed) and that I’m probably on the autism spectrum. I also discovered it’s most likely linked to CPTSD. Your podcast (this season especially) has tied it all together so perfectly. I have been a member of Brain Based Wellness (on demand) for a while and once I started using neuro-tools to regulate my nervous system I realized that my outputs have changed. I do not react the way I used to and am able to show up in relationships so differently. You are both so brave and vulnerable and I know others are discovering themselves too. Thank you, thank you for sharing all of this with the world!

After listening to a few episodes I wanted to know a bit of the educational background of the hosts. After about .5 hr of digging, there don't seem to be any credential's on the hosts. The last episode about healing vision after reducing cortisol in the body made me super suspicious. It seemed irresponsible to imply that healing could potentially take place. Maybe I misunderstood, but i wanted to leave a review because I feel that this misinformation is reaching a vulnerable population. Please fact check the information you read!! Living a healthy lifestyle is always best practice. 👍🏼

This podcast has been instrumental in my healing and I thank them from the bottom of my heart from helping me to understand myself. The information is presented in a way that makes the science easier to understand and each episode is hugely helpful and validating.
Exhausted by diagnosis

I heard about this podcast on the other podcast similar to this, which is back from the borderline, but I like that one much more . I am interested in some of these episodes but to be quite honest I am so existentially exhausted by the reliance of diagnosis in navigating anything mental health. A diagnosis of which I have many has never once helped me and this constant blabbering about them and adding this one and considering that one is just insanity to me. In my opinion, the reason that ADHD doesn’t fully capture all of these different facets that are human personality is that there is no singular diagnosis. There is no combination of diagnosis that can accurately depict the infinite facets of a humans personality. And if you’re also tired of this, I recommend you quit listening to podcasts and get out into your community because all that this does is make me want to connect with people who aren’t sitting at a book and making all of their emotions academic. And honestly, anyone who is a doctor or who has professional medical training is not the person I want to be listening to, to learn about my mental health. In fact that’s the last person I want to be listening to at this point my life with the current world going on.
