There have been unconfirmed sightings of Nick on the day he disappeared near various locations, including Pine Point Campsite and Cowan Road, with a final sighting on July 1, at 4:30 p.m., on a beach. His wife, Dory Marion, has expressed deep concern, citing his recent mental health challenges following his mother's death and dramatic behavioral changes. Despite formal searches being called off, Nick's family continue to organize volunteer efforts to find him across Vancouver Island and beyond.     Derek Ritz, a 51-year-old man from Perth County, went missing on New Year’s Eve in 2016. He was last seen around 3 a.m. in Sebringville, Ontario, near Avonton Road. Despite ongoing efforts from the OPP and public assistance, his whereabouts remain unknown. Derek is described as 5'11", 170 lbs, with shoulder-length brown hair and a tattoo of a woman with a snake on his forearm. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark leather motorcycle jacket, and carrying an orange backpack. The authorities have asked the public to check their properties for any signs that might help in locating him.
