Head of Scholars House, Associate Professor Michelle Barrett sits down with Nina Gannon, who is about to finish her Bachelor of Laws with specialisation in law reform, environmental and social justice, and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Human Rights. They discuss her time in Darwin working with the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA) in providing legal aid services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. They also discuss her passion for hockey and her involvement with the ANU Women’s hockey club, her experience as the sports officer at Wright Hall, her exchange to the University of Manchester, prison systems and visits, retina scans, and her recent visit to central Australia.
