I listen to tons of football pods. ESP does a good job of putting out quick concise content, reviewing news and takes from the league. Put this pod in your rotation. Hot Take: I love Jalen Hurts. Can not overstate his leadership, his intangibles, work ethic etc. He had a great year! But make no mistake, it will be very unlikely for him to keep this up, consistently, for a long period of time. He plays a lot like a running back. Running backs only last five or six years. He will be injured. He will lose a step. Jalen has improved dramatically as a passer. But to be a long term franchise QB he needs to improve even more in the pocket, throwing the ball. Sirianni also needs to cut down on the designed QB runs. How quickly we forget that long ago, most people thought Wentz was the franchise. And would be winning us championships for years to come. We need to appreciate what Jalen has done, how much he has improved. But also realize he needs to take another step with his arm as a pure passer, to truly be a franchise QB for the next decade because the legs won’t last that long.
