Hooked from the beginning- good characters

I’ve listened to this story three to four times over the past few years. Every time I listen to it, it gives me a chance to reflect on different aspects of life - overcoming hardships, friends, family, etc. It’s a great story.
Short but good!

This may not be the longest story out there but it is well worth listening to! Awesome story had me hooked in the first episode!
Low Gravity SciFi

On the one hand it’s a man writing about a hyper competent and tiny young (barely) woman. On the other hand there’s tons of moralizing about working hard and making your own way talking over indentured servitude. In the end, it’s a fun kind of hope punk space story with light geology and mining science & tech. It’s a bit low gravity, but sometimes that’s exactly what you’re in the mood for.
Great Characters

I just completed listening to the podcast of Tumbler. I found the story quite entertaining and very refreshing. I very much enjoyed the setting. Every day hard working folk, living on the frontier of man’s expansion into space. Libby’s progression from naive greenhorn city slicker into a sharp and skilled frontier miner is a interesting journey to say the least, and the journey is one well worth taking. But what I find most enjoyable is even though the story is set in a fictional universe where mankind has moved out into the far reaches of the galaxy, the science of the story is relatable. It’s not far fetched and difficult to grasp. Everything feels like it could be happening right now. Combine that with characters that are just living a day to day life working to make ends meet and put food on their tables, and it provides readers/listeners with a story which we all can relate. My only downer with the story is that it feels to short. I found myself wanting more of the story, wanting to know more about the lives of the townsfolk and how they’ll bounce back from the hardships they face. Tumbler is a great story and is well worth giving a listening or read, whichever you choose.
