For this episode, we talk to Cassidy about Intellectual Property, her journey in engineering and law, & ethics in engineering.
About Cassidy: Cassidy Aranda is a member of the California Baptist University, Electrical & Computer Engineering Class of 2020. Post-graduation, Cassidy worked as an Integration Test Engineer. Cassidy is currently in her final year of law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law. She plans on becoming an Intellectual Property Attorney & is set to start as a full-time Associate at a Chicago law firm in the Fall of 2024. She is excited to help her future clients obtain and maintain their patents, trademarks, copyrights, & trade secrets!
In her free time, she enjoys reading books, drumming, modeling, and exploring various crafty mediums (soldering, cross-stitching, photography, etc.). Cassidy is passionate about increasing the number of Latina women in STEM and law, and plans to one day create a scholarship/pipeline program to enable more women to succeed in these empowering fields!
