Trusting Energetics As A Language (Bonus Episode)

Hello and Welcome to this Bonus Episode! We really felt pulled by our own spirits to record this special episode as a way to honour the theme of trusting our own energy. This episode is a juicy one and covers some of the dangers of the spiritual industry, some of the green flags that turn into red flags and how to come back to your own inner knowing. This episode is in no way to blast or to shame anyone from seeking spiritual assistance or services, nor is it to shame any practitioners out there. It is a collection of our experiences, what we have witnessed and what we have observed through our extended network. Trigger Warning (55:15mins-1:05 approx) this episode highlights topics of sexual assault, abuse and financial crimes. We highlight one case study out of the unfortunate many in which people are abused from a ‘trusted’ person or a person in authority. We really wanted to share this case sensitively to raise awareness, but to also acknowledge all of those who may be affected on a personal level. If you or any one who you love and know has been affected by issues relating to this, please know it is never too late to 1) get support and 2) report a crime. The Guessing Game: Spotting The Sisterhood In Synastry

Hello & welcome to episode 10!  This episode is all about ‘Spotting The Sisterhood In Synastry’ & to celebrate this milestone and the development of their pod. Emily and Mimi’s have dedicated this episode to The Guessing Game which was a concept birthed in the DMs on the streets of Instagram and is a game which allowed them both to explore & share their astrological thoughts whilst guessing the natal placements of the public figures and celebrities that interested them in a space that allowed them to enhance their astrological insights and provide a safe space to explore these topics free from pressure and judgement.  Through this game, they are now able to share these thoughts and opinions on a wider scale whilst interweaving themes and threads of life that are near and dear to them both, and through combining their astrological analysis and intuitive observations they will explore the Birth charts of four creative Black Women who are trailblazers in their own respective lanes yet meet in the middle as they establish careers in similar industries.  We often hear people share their thoughts on what they believe Sisterhood should look like, but these two Mutable Suns take on a twist as they open up the session by intentionally exploring what feels like to them as opposed to what it looks like before taking diving into the astrological fun of guessing the Lilith, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Moon placements of the Keke Palmer and Sza who both starred in the film ‘One of Them Days’ and inspired the curiosity behind the ways in which Sisterhood and synergy can show up in the lives of Women who have careers in similar fields yet find ways to uplift, speak life over each other and develop genuine bonds of friendship and Sisterhood with one another.  And Tems and Ayra Starr who over time have cultivated a relationship with one another rooted in Sisterhood and what inspired further astrological investigation into these two specific artists who are forever changing and shaping the Afrobeats/Soul and R&B game was how their bond felt rooted in the big sister & little sister dynamic.  Emily and Mimi’s light-hearted humorous approach to this episode of the Guessing Game truly makes this episode special and through their shared love for the stars, Black culture, and the taboo they are able to share their Mutable wit and wisdom with fellow curious souls.  As you listen to this episode, Mimi and Emily would like to invite you to reflect on the gems shared in this episode so that you may also be empowered to find the ways in which you may be able to ‘Spot The Sisterhood In Synastry’ in your own personal connections and if you feel called to share your thoughts on what resonated from this episode we would love to hear your thoughts! Recording & editing this episode was a labour of love, amidst the many tech difficulties  experienced during this retrograde season but as our pod continues to grow and evolve we would like to share the many other ways you can keep updated to date with the cool things we are working on! We have officially joined TikTok and you can find our page here! Understanding The Timing Of Your Life

Hello and welcome to episode 8!  In this episode, Mimi and Emily reflect on what it means to them to understand the timing of your life, and what soul-evolving lessons some of the seasons they are currently passing through have taught them.  In wider society, there is often a drive to achieve, achieve, achieve and chase the next milestone whether that’s owning your own house, getting married by “30” and so forth but for individuals who are journeying through life and still trying to understand the rhythms and patterns of their own timing this can at times have adverse effects on body, spirits, and souls.  In reflecting on this topic, Mimi and Emily unpack whether time is fixed or relative and whether society at large has played a role in furthering timeline pressures that have forced many of us into feeling left behind in life or embarrassed about where they are in life.  Following the lockdown of 2020, many of us were forced into periods of reflection, isolation, and self-evaluation, as we assessed whether the life we were living was truly for our authentic self and their souls evolution or simply for societal and familial pressures.  Detailing personal experiences, Mimi and Emily share what it means to them to journey through the timing of their own lives and Emily also provides an alternative perspective deriving from her love for Religious Studies that illustrates the various timings we may encounter in this human experience and how duality is key in understanding the timing of your life. Both hosts unpack what astrological transits and natal placements may experience periods of stagnation and standstill or have to work a little more harder than others to overcome feelings of delay and denial.  We pray that as you listen to this message, episode, and recording you are blessed by the insights and gems shared & as you move through Gemini season may you find periods of stillness to reflect, assess, and re-evaluate what it means to move through life on your own terms and through the rhythm and beat of your own drum!  You can now listen to our podcast on a range of platforms by clicking the link HERE! Mars Pluto & Venus Dominant Celebrities In Public Spaces And Polarising Public Opinions

Hello and welcome to episode 6!  We’ve officially reached our six-month milestone and would like to thank each and every soul who has supported us along this wonderful journey.  In this episode Mimi and Emily share their insights as to why dominant martian, venusian, and plutonic celebrities such as SexxyRed, Summer Walker, Sza, Drake and Chris Brown often experience such polarising public opinions. Mimi and Emily also uncover why these natives' birth charts make it harder to separate the controversy that surrounds them from polarising public opinions.  As the hosts journey through this discussion, they share their astrological observations and analysis from a Western perspective and unpack their thoughts on the Pluto in Scorpio generation & and uncover why celebs who belong to this generation are often scrutinised on these plutonic themes like sexual liberation & sensuality, love, power or the abuse of power and the taboo.  Mimi and Emily also explore the role of Black Moon Lilith and how this placement plays a role in amplifying the scrutiny that some of these celebrities just can’t seem to escape.  This episode is filled with laughter, insights on Black culture, and a shared love for uncovering the unseen and we hope that you are able to take away some lessons from this discussion and assess whether these themes play a role in your personal life or the lives of those who are near and dear to you.  As always, no episode is ever the same with the TMIP podcast and we only have one ask…which is for you to come as you are & of course with your favourite cuppa or glass of wine as relax and unwind to the teachings and lessons shared by Mimi and Emily in this insightful episode.  We pray that eclipse & retrograde season have imparted lessons that help you gravitate towards your soul's purpose and as we head towards the end of Aries season, we pray that the soul lessons regarding your values, your boundaries, and yourself respect/what makes you feel good remain with you always.  Love  Mimi and Emily  TMIP Podcast xx #Blackculture #Astrology #Celebentertaintment #Creativespaces #Healingspaces #Blackentertainement #Popculture #Zodiacs #Ariesseason
