But he’s dead wrong on Asheville, NC. It is not CLOSE to the highest point in North Carolina. (High Point, NC’s elevation. Is about 6,600 feet.) And Asheville (elevation 2,200 feet) is not “on top of a mountain.” It is SURROUNDED by mountains, though. David’s Canadian, so we’ll give him a pass. And suggest he look at a topographical map before opining on Blue Ridge geography. 😉
