Wonderful conversations

I have no criticisms of the quality of the discussions. The host and guests are knowledgeable and informative. The release schedule, however, is a bit of a mystery to me. The latest episode was released over a year after it was recorded. There may be a valid reason for the delay, but in general a more timely release would improve the podcast significantly.
Not bad

I am sure the content of this podcast is great, I just can’t get through an episode without falling asleep. Oration is certainly an art form not on display here
The definitive interview about the Hong Kong situation
06/11/2019
The interview with Johannes Chan (parts 1 and 2) gives the most impartial, in-depth, and serious analysis of the current situation in Hong Kong for outsiders and Americans. Beyond all the noise in the news, the two part series dives right into the issues from the beginning of British occupation up to the disastrous government of C.Y. Highly recommend. You should have more subscribers.
Thoughtful, in depth analysis of contemporary China issues
27/10/2019
I can not recommend this podcast enough. As a China watcher overwhelmed with current events news programming, context is perpetually in demand. The two part series on Hong Kong’s legal institutions from colonial era to the present is the best introduction to the current situation. This podcast allows a rare forum to listen to leading scholars expand on details beyond sound bites.
