    Early Interventions

    Early Interventions

Join us for this episode where we explore how we can inspire children into science and why it is so effective to start at such a young age. We speak to Fran Long, a primary science expert whose career has spanned working as a primary science specialist to her current role as a training and engagement coordinator at a UK battery research institute. Our conversation covers topics from understanding how interventions can inspire more children into science and why it's important to start as young as 10. Can you remember being 10 and inspired about your future? Fran talks about who's job it is to ensure children have access to STEM careers and we discuss our experiences of doing outreach and ensuring both children and parents feel they can get involved in science.
