Under the Influencer: Natalie Barbu

Ageless

On this week's episode we sit down with content creator and CEO Natalie Barbu. Natalie has been a content creator for 10+ years, starting back in 2011. She grew up on social media and after college was able to quit her corporate job to do YouTube full-time in 2019. Natalie decided to use what she learned along the way to start consulting services for brands and influencers, where she quickly came up with the idea for Rella - an all-in-one organizational tool and app for influencers to run and grow their business. Natalie founded Rella in 2021, recruited 2 technical co-founders to help her develop the app, and has since  grown the team to 8 people in just a few months. She is currently learning the ropes of raising capital, perfecting her pitch, speaking to investors, all while running Rella alongside doing social media full-time as an influencer herself with over 360,000+ followers on YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok and her podcast, The Real Reel Podcast. In this episode we discuss shifts in the influencer space since Natalie began her career on Youtube, tips for building a personal brand online, what makes a successful brand partnership, and time management tools in a multi-hyphen career.
