    • Society & Culture

We're so excited to have David Kozlowski from the OG Therapy Podcast and Light the Fight Podcast with us! Today David begins by sharing his personal story of growing up with family members with Borderline Personality Disorder, how he experienced multiple concussions and a suicide attempt while playing football at the University of Utah, and facing his own mental health struggles which led to pursuing a master's in counseling psychology and a desire to help others. David has become an expert in his field and has worked with kids, teens, and families in mental health for over 25 years, specializing in working with teens. He shares how the youth he worked with helped come up with the term Social Health, how he created the first Social Health Curriculum for Herriman High School (Utah), and how strengthening social health is key to strengthening mental health for our youth. He shares about his new book Youth of the Nation, how it focuses on Social Health and can help parents, educators, and anyone who has interest in supporting the mental health of young people.
