Shai Held Judaism is About Love

I just watched someone criticizing Christian Nationalism. What was wrong with Christian Nationalism? It is “Judaizing!” So here’s anti-Judaism disguised as progressive. Atheists have absorbed anti-Judaism too and they don’t see it. Israel means God wrestler in Hebrew. Jews don’t believe in original sin. I went to a laughing yoga class with a friend. We all started with forced laughing but it eventually became real laughter. One thing you both ignored is the Christian belief that Christianity replaced Judaism and corrects Judaism flaws. Augustine called Jews “living fossils.” It’s the original replacement theory. Augustine believed Jews should be allowed to exist but only as examples of the wretchedness of those who reject Jesus. Jews never had the power to persecute anyone during the beginning of Christianity or when Jesus was alive.

This podcast features a wide array of interesting guests and conservations. The common thread seems to be that it all relates to religion in society and peoples lives. That’s a theme few people focus on or cover the way this podcast and website does.
Talking religion in the public square
07/05/2020
The Media Project leads an organic conversation with journalists and educators about religion and how it affects different nations. Some of the best episodes include the interview with Clemente Lesi about his experience reporting the 9/11 event and the so-called “preppers” for disasters. The interviews feature honest questions from the interviewer and carefully detailed answers from the interviewee. Unfortunately, the podcast airs only once a month and varies in length. For example, the conversation with David Blevins lasted only about 25 minutes, while the interview about Christianity in Africa lasted over 40 minutes. Overall, the podcast brings a conclusive and accurate interview about how religion affects the world. A great work of audio journalism and hopefully, a podcast that will only improve!
