Undertow is amazing, but some voice actors are unbearable

Story & sound design is amazing - but MY GOD the voices of Toby in Hovering and Izzy in Uncanny Valley are grating.
Story is great but the voice ugh

Hovering- great story well designed and overall well acted. I had to stop listening bc the voice of Toby is insufferable. With podcasts it’s all about what you hear and this voice actor is not it for this role. It literally sounds like a middle aged woman trying to do a high school aged male voice. Ugh.
Love the audio drama!

Hovering was great. Sisters too! When will there be the next series?!?
Too Political - Disrupts a Good Story
Jan 24
Apparently I’m not alone in this critique: tried to listen to the first episode - the premise sucked me in and I was excited, but within the first 5-10 minutes all I got were aggressive, hateful, far-Left, anti-man, anti-white, anti-capitalism, liberal talking points and lectures that totally threw off the vibe of the production. Had to turn it off cuz I can’t listen to that garbage constantly - it’s already being spat in our faces on almost every cable news source and online news platform; why ruin a potentially awesome show and story with grating, hateful politics? Sad.
