These guys know their stuff! Especially Chris!

Frank is the absolute best. I listen to several baseball podcast and most of them are hard to get through. Frank makes his show the best. I wish Chris wouldn’t speak just to hear himself. Too much babbling from Chris.

I recently experienced an honest misunderstanding via email (which is not uncommon with written communication) and I have to give it to the guys at Fantasy Baseball Today: they took the time to read both my initial email and both follow-ups. And instead of dismissing or disregarding my comments, they responded in a genuine manner that is quite rare in the field of podcasts. And I’m sure the guys receive a lot of correspondences, whether it be via email, X, YouTube comments or elsewhere. So taking the time to respond to one mere listener meant a lot and goes a long way with me. But that’s just one of many aspects as to why I really like the show and rarely miss an episode: the guys are knowledgeable, they cover a lot of ground, they add humor but don’t go on at length with inside jokes (like a certain four-letter sports program’s baseball podcast did way too often), and they have good insight (recommending Ivan Herrera before his breakout, for just one of several great calls). And though fantasy sports will never be an exact or precise science, the guys are quite helpful (as in helping me avoid buying into the Kyren Paris hype, which saved me from dropping a much better player). As someone who takes in a number of podcasts, I would highly recommend this show. And I truly do thank and appreciate the guys for taking the time to interact directly with me. Very much appreciated!

For two years now I’ve been trying to give this show a chance. I just can’t anymore. Are they wrong about every prediction? Certainly possible. All I hear is analytical number garbage but taken as scripture. I have to question how much baseball these guys even watch. And if they are watching, they certainly aren’t understanding what they’re seeing for the most part. I give it 2 stars because if you’re looking for news updates, this is a good place to go. But I’d much rather just surf rotowire for that. They desperately need another host who is an eye test guy over analytics to balance things out. If that ever happens, I may give it another shot.
