Defining What Sustainable Success is in Your Creative Business with Trupti Karjinni (#112)

Defining What Sustainable Success is in Your Creative Business with Trupti Karjinni (#112)

This episode is an insight into how you can unapologetically manifest your creative identity in a business. This eye-opening and soul-moving conversation between Kellee and Trupti Karjinni will have you re-evaluating your business models, taking a deep breath of relief from some open and honest dialogue, and ready to take your next big step in your business journey.
Trupti's journey into manifestation and back to her creativity (very similar to Kellee's path!) is a testimate to embracing our authentic selves, redefining what success means to each of us and our individual values, and appreciating the journey in each moment rather than focusing on unrealistic milestones. We are ditching the romanticizing of hustle cultures and taking a close look at some toxicity that can appear in coaching cultures.
This episode is an excellent representation of the level of mentoring and support that Kellee expects from herself in her Build It Remarkable program, guiding others to embrace their own narrative and empowering creatives and artists, just like you, to build a sustainable, remarkable creative business.

    About Trupti Karjinni:
Less than 6 years ago, I was stuck at an unfulfilling corporate job paying less than $320/month, living paycheck-to-paycheck and wondering “will life ever get better than this?!”
Deep down I knew I wanted more, so I kept looking. A chance encounter with watercolors opened up a whole new world for me. I kept following the pings from the Universe, trusting myself more and more, and it led me to here - The owner of two global businesses, one in India and another in Canada, which together have generated over half a million dollars in revenue and impacted over 35,000 souls.
I created every aspect of my current reality by design. I moved from my small hometown, Belgaum in India, to Calgary, Canada with my husband and two fur babies.
To the little Trupti who grew up with severe childhood trauma and low self-esteem, experiencing extreme poverty multiple times, the life of prosperity, wealth and peace I’m living today would seem impossible.

    About Brooke Henry:
I have always had an innate desire to be creative, work with my hands, and make beautiful creations. This has taken on many forms over the years. My roots are based in sewing and quilting but quickly stretched to anything I could get my hands on. Through years of exploration and returning to child-like play I have found my home in mixed media art journaling. I specialize in finding ways to bring more texture into artwork through textiles and intuitive stitching and combining techniques and elements that don’t “go together.” My passion is ignited when I focus on creative problem-solving through play and experimentation, which leads to innovative ideas. My purpose is fulfilled and my heart is happy when I can not only share my knowledge but also help others to break down inner thought barriers in order to create freely and trust their artistic intuition.

The Power of Vulnerability in a Creative Business with Jackie Schomburg (#110)

The Power of Vulnerability in a Creative Business with Jackie Schomburg (#110)

Kellee is overjoyed to introduce all of you to Jackie Schomburg, a workshop leader whose passion in life is helping others get unstuck from various aspects of their lives, create authentic art, and allow people to get out of their own ways. Jackie transitioned from the corporate world when she could feel herself falling victim to the hustle and stress of the corporate world until she was able to break free and pursue her passion of approaching a business that supports vulnerability and showing up as yourself.
In online businesses today, social media plays a vital role in building our creative pursuits, which brought Jackie into the Build It Remarkable program and she has come away with a new comprehension of how to market herself to her audience without feeling sleazy or salesy. She has been leaning into showing up more as herself, embracing building her list, and marketing herself knowing that she has a brilliant gift to offer to others.
    About Jackie Schomburg:
Jackie Schomburg is a self-taught abstract mixed media artist, and teacher, living with her husband and three young children in the Chicago suburbs. Her current abstract paintings are focused on identity and the tension between freedom and the need to belong. In addition to exploring this in her own art, Jackie also teaches workshops blending art making and journaling.

Jackie’s Brave Art & Creative Wellness workshops focus on the process of making art, rather than the finished product itself. Participating artists learn to use mark-making, collage, or grid journals to slow down, de-stress, and stay present in the moment. This process is a highly effective self-care tool that can help calm anxiety, promote positive mental health, boost self-confidence, encourage self-expression, unblock creativity, and help process trauma in a safe space. No artistic experience is necessary.

Breakthroughs and Business Growth with Catherine Rains (#109)

Breakthroughs and Business Growth with Catherine Rains (#109)

Kellee Wynne coaches members of her Remarkable League with the belief in consistency and the step-by-step process. On the podcast today, Catherine Rains is here to share how she has brought to life her dream of creating a sustainable and abundant art business. Cat explains in detail the breakthroughs she experienced and how collaboration, consistency, and clear focus have propelled her career.
By focusing on nurturing her social media presence, and her implementing more solid list-building strategies, Cat has discovered the potential for abundance that extends beyond sales. Her contagious passion and the way she pours her soul into her offers have led her to make a profound impact on aspiring artists as she continues to uplift others on their creative journeys.

    About Catherine Rains:
For the past 30 years, I have created sacred art for the purpose of inspiring myself and
others to awaken to who we were meant to be, to who we’ve always been. An interesting truth about this dream: It was an accident. Until age 33, I was one of those people who said, “I don’t have an artistic bone in my body.”

Although I've been running an art business for the past 23 years, I've only recently found a path to make a full living from art. I've experimented with many ways to earn money from collage until I finally realized that I wanted to teach others to create what I love, AND how to connect deeply to the art as they make it. With COLLAGE JOY, my first major course, I'm doing exactly that. Now I realize that this is where my winding path has been leading all along. I'm already planning two more courses in the upcoming year, and cutting WAY back on my very part time day gig (just cut back to 2 1/2 days a month) so that I can finally focus on my life's passion full-time. Working with Kellee as my coach is a major part of my long-range plan, and I KNOW that I wouldn't be where I am today without her expert guidance over the past year.

Shifting Your Marketing Mindset with Margarete Miller (#107)

In this episode of Made Remarkable, Kellee is sitting down for a chat with the talented Margarete Miller for an in-depth look at the remarkable transformation her business has undergone in the past year. Marketing that used to fill Margarete with anxiety she now handles with confidence, a business plan that used to involve a nightmare of printing and shipping now has simplified into an intimate membership of vintage and collage lovers, and the overwhelm that she once experienced in launches has now become a familiar, routine process in her planning and strategy for the upcoming year.
Remember, your creative journey is a remarkable one, and with the right tools and insights, you can elevate your art business to unprecedented heights. Many of the strategies, tips, and conversations that Margarete mentions in this episode are also key components of Build It Remarkable.  Let's make 2024 a year of remarkable growth and transformation together!

    About Margarete Miller:
I am a collage artist who loves to use vintage papers in my work. I've always been interested in history so when I began my art journey with collage, I knew that I wanted to incorporate interesting old papers so that new eyes could see them.

I also really love postage stamps! Honestly, I can't explain why I love them. There are so many great themes and designs and colors. On top of that, when I find old stamps, I could play with them for hours sorting and organizing. It's no wonder that I constantly use postage stamps in my art. Most of the time, they are just the right embellishment to finish off a collage. Especially when you can find the right shade of color to complement your work!

I've been working with Kellee Wynne in her fabulous Remarkable League and have learned so much. I'm pleased to have the opportunity to talk about how it's made a difference in my art business journey.

Inspiring, actionable, whip smart - what’s not to love?

Kellee is the real deal. Between her own powerful story and enthusiasm, and the women she selects to profile for their own vastly different and always fascinating journeys - this podcast delivers. Kellee knows how to dig deep in an always accessible way. She asks the questions you’d ask yourself, and ones you wish you’d thought to ask - of herself and her guests. Her answers go way beyond pat catch phrases and trends. She remembers what it was like to not know what she now knows so well. That empathy for earlier parts of the journey, and practical, actionable advice for how to move forward make this my new don’t miss podcast.

Packed with useful information!!

This is my go-to podcast for relatable insights with the art biz. Kellee is so personable it’s like I’m having a cup of coffee with her at her kitchen table. The advice is powerful, the people she interviews are very knowledgeable, and she asks them the questions I would ask!
