A man who once lived a life of violence is forced to confront his past and return to a life he had hoped to have left behind in the Oscar award winning Unforgiven (1991). This week Invasion of the Remake compares the original Clint Eastwood classic to the 2013 Japanese remake featuring Ken Watanabe. Will the remake hold up to the classic or will the audacity of remaking this western gem be Unforgiven?
